Philadelphia, PA (January 27 2015)–This Saturday night at the 2300 Arena, undefeated Middleweight Kyrone Davis will take on veteran Jonathan Garcia in a 6-round bout on a show promoted by King’s Promotions.

The main event will see undefeated Prichard Colon (12-0, 10 KO’s) of Orocovis, Puerto Rico taking on Hector Munoz (23-13-1, 15 KO’s) of Albuquerque, New Mexico in the 8-round Jr. Middleweight fight.

Davis out of Wilmington, Delaware has a record of 5-0 with three knockouts and the former amateur standout is excited about his fight this Saturday.

“Training went well.  I know that Garcia is a durable guy who has fought good competition.  My goal on Saturday is to put on a good, clean performance.  Not to get hit and give everyone a good show for my first fight in Philly,”said the 20 year-old Davis.

Davis was 91-9 as an amateur, who won two National PAL tournaments and competed in Olympic trials is looking forward to his local debut.

“Even know I was born in New Jersey and live in Delaware, I train in Philadelphia.  I have not fought here professionally and I am coming back to show everyone what I am doing.  I am going to fight smart and push for the knockout.  I just want to be a great pro.”

“I am in good spirits and have put in lots of road work.  I have a great team with my trainer Stephen Edwards.  This is the longest camp we have had as I was supposed to fight in December and went that did not happen, we stayed training.  I am in the best shape.  This is my first six round fight but we prepared to go even longer so it wont be a problem.  I expect to perform at the next level.
