He takes on the 26-year-old Valenzuela who enters this fight on a four-bout winning streak including a win over previously unbeaten Carlos Castillo in November 2015. The Phoenix-native’s only losses came against unbeaten fighters.

The 23-year-old Holmes turned pro in 2013 after a brief amateur career and delivered knockout victories in his first three contests. A veteran of the venue he’ll be entering on September 27; the Santa Fe-native’s last seven victories have come at Buffalo Thunder Casino.
