NUVOtv Final results : Roy Jones Jr. KOs Eric Watkins in 6

Mashantucket, Conn. – Former four division champion Roy Jones Jr. (62-8) picked up his third victory of the year with a brutal 6th round knockout of Eric Watkins (12-10-2) in the Knockout series finally brought to you by NUVOtv.

Jones dominated the action from the opening bell and stopped Watkins at the end of the 6th round with a check left hook that his opponent couldn’t recover from. The official time of the stoppage was 2:59.

In the co-featured bouts, local fan favorite Mike Oliver (26-6-1) was upset by the crafty Jonathan Arrellano (16-6-2) who stopped him with a one punch knockout at the end of the 4th round while promising lightweight Hylon Williams Jr. (16-1-1) battled rugged veteran Jason Litzau (29-3-1) to a split draw. The final tallies were 79-73 Litzau, 77-75 Williams, and 76-76.

The fight card was promoted by Steven Marcano Promotions and the matches were set by Rick Glaser.
