Change of opponent for Gevor, Azzaoui replaces Vugdelija

Noel Gevor (16-0, 9 KOs) will face a new challenge when he enters the ring on April 25. Stjepan Vugdelija has withdrawn from a scheduled bout with German cruiserweight, to be replaced by Mohamed Azzaoui (26-3, 8 KOs).

Gevor is currently in Warsaw training alongside Krzysztof Wlodarczyk, as the Pole prepares for his world championship rematch with Grigory Drozd.  On hearing the news of his change of opponent the 24 year-old said: ‘’Azzaoui is a tough opponent who has shared the ring with many talented fighters, including IBF World Champion Yoan Pablo Hernandez. So now, I’m even more motivated for this fight. I look forward to showing the fans in Berlin what I can do on April 25’’

Gevor joins an action-packed show at the Columbia Hall in Berlin. Tyron Zeuge (16-0, 10 KOs) tops the bill with an IBF International Super Middleweight Championship defence against former world title challenger Nikola Sjekloca (28-3, 8 KOs), while German stars Enrico Koelling (16-1, 6 KOs), Karo Murat (26-2-1, 16 KOs) and Burak Sahin (6-0, 6 KOs) return alongside Polish cruiserweight Mateusz Masternak (34-2, 24 KOs).
